STARNAV has installed the new MAGELLAN astro-inertial system on a French navy vessel. The system incorporates a new concept that places the inertial measurement unit as close as possible to the star and sun tracker. In this way, the autonomous device is not subject to deformations of the boat.
The mission is underway and will enable us to validate the overall performance.
