STARNAV had the pleasure of being invited aboard the Belgian-Dutch Force Frigate DE ZEVEN PROVINCÏEN during its stopover in Le Havre. We were able to exchange views with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in France and the Chief of Staff of the Dutch TF Maritime, CV SUURVELD.
The Mayor of Le Havre, Edouard PHILIPPE, was also present.
STARNAV presented its MAGELLAN system, which uses astro-inertial technology to compensate for GNSS absences. This type of functionality is obviously much sought-after by operational crews, who are currently subject to regular interruptions to their radio navigation services.
