EXAIL supports the development of MAGELLAN Aero. In this context, the UMIX team was able to make available the latest addition to its range of fiber optic gyro Inertial measurement unit ( FOG IMU). This cooperation happened at our HQ in Bretteville sur Odon, when EXAIL experts visited for a day of exchanges and implementation. The key words for this high-speed project were competence, efficiency and performance.
Exceptional performance for such a small volume allows STARNAV to incorporate the UMIX into the first operational inertial navigation with sun or star drift corection system.
